Grierson & Leitch

Nov 6, 2017

The biggest story in entertainment is the increasingly horrific stories involving Harvey Weinstein, Kevin Spacey and others, and before we get into this week's movies, we discuss how we talk about movies, and off-screen scandals, and whether we can truly ever separate the two. It's a searching conversation in which neither of us quite come up with the answers, but we do try.

Then it's time for the big hit of the weekend, "Thor: Ragnarok." Grierson solos on "Last Flag Flying," "Lady Bird" and "LBJ," and then it's the centerpiece, a discussion of the wonderful, still-breathtaking "Punch Drunk Love" from Paul Thomas Anderson.

We hope you enjoy. Let us know what you think @griersonleitch on Twitter, or griersonleitch@gmail.com. As always, give us a review on iTunes with the name of a movie you'd like us to review, and we'll discuss it on a later podcast.
